Rafale Scam: Delivery deal under NDA better than UPA, says CAG | Nation at 9

The CAG report on rafale says the NDA deal is 2.8% cheaper than the UPA-era. Indian specific upgrades were 17.08% percent cheaper too. The CAG however observed that unnecessary India-specific enhancements were made by the NDA. The fly away price of the jet is same as agreed in the 2007 by the UPA government. According to CAG, the delivery schedule of the first 18 rafale aircraft was better than what was proposed in the 126 aircraft deal.
