All about recycling

Recycling is the process which transforms used materials into new ones using nothing but the waste products collected. It is a versatile and relatively simple means of protecting the environment by conserving material that would otherwise end up in landfill.
Today, recycling is now a regular part of waste management and has become a veritable industry which helps reinforce local economies. Most household's recyclables are segregated and treated separately from non-recyclable waste when they are collected. Huge sorting and processing facilities treat the used materials. Paper, plastic, metal, glass, electronics and textiles are among the most commonly recycled materials. And because of its versatility, materials found in one product can often be recycled for use in another. Like this car's trunk made from the tiles of used skateboards Biodegradable organics, such as food waste are also recyclable and can be put to use elsewhere after initial consumption.
The majority of which is recycled for use as compost and fertiliser. More and more products can now be recycled and the treatment processes are getting more sophisticated in wider efforts to increase resource conservation.
