After the successful series against Australia and New Zealand, the Indian selectors are now looking at testing out few more players leading up to the World Cup. In order to test the bench strength, the upcoming home series against Australia could see few changes made to the side. According to a report the selectors are now looking to strike a balance of resting senior batsmen, rotating pacers and trying out the back-up options for the World Cup. This could mean a recall for Ajinkya Rahane and KL Rahul as Rohit Sharma could be rested for a few games

न्यूजीलैंड के खिलाफ सीरीज गंवाने के बाद भारतीय टीम की कोशिश ऑस्ट्रेलिया को पटखनी देकर फॉर्म हासिल करने की होगी। इन दोनों सीरीज के दौरान भारतीय टीम में कुछ बदलाव तय माने जा रहे हैं। द हिंदू की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक ऑस्ट्रेलिया के खिलाफ कप्तान कोहली और उकप्तान रोहित शर्मा को अगर आराम दिया जाता है तो टीम की कमान टेस्ट के उपकप्तान अजिंक्य रहाणे संभाल सकते हैं। रहाणे अपना पिछला वनडे मुकाबला दक्षिण अफ्रीका के खिलाफ साल 2018 में खेला था, वहीं रोहित के अलावा सलामी बल्लेबाज शिखर धवन को भी इस सीरीज से आराम मिल सकता है।
