At least 9 dead as fire breaks out at Hotel Arpit in Delhi

Fire broke out at Hotel Arpit in Delhi’s Karol Bagh area on Tuesday. At least nine people were killed and seven critically injured. Delhi Fire Service officials said they received a call at 4:35am about the fire at Hotel Arpit Palace on Gurudwara Road of Karol Bagh area. According to deputy chief fire officer, Sunil Chawdhary, 26 fire tenders were rushed to the spot. A search operation is on to look for people who may be trapped inside the hotel.
