Martin Scorsese's 'The Irishman' Gets a Release Date It stars Al Pacino as Hoffa and Robert De Niro as Frank 'The Irishman' Sheeran. Comedian and costar Sebastian Maniscalco broke the news on Joe Rogan's podcast. The film centers on a mafia hitman who claimed to have killed Jimmy Hoffa. The legendary director has a long list of memorable movies. But this could be his most expensive one to date, with a rumored budget of $150 million dollars. Much of the cost went towards digitally de-aging the actors in
the movie. This will be the 9th time that Scorsese and De Niro have teamed up together in a film. 'The Irishman' looks to hit Netflix this October.
