Dileep arrested in the Malayalam actress Kidnapping case

Leading Malayalam actor Dileep was arrested on Monday evening from Kochi for playing an alleged role in kidnapping and sexually assaulting a well known actress from the same industry. He has been sent to 14 days of judicial custody today by the court. Last week he was questioned by the police for 13 hours in connection with the case. The actress was allegedly attacked in a moving car this year while returning from the shooting location. According to the police this was the second attempt to attack her. Kerala DGP said, Dileep was arrested based on evidence collected by the probe team. Investigations have so far revealed that due to personal enmity, Dileep allegedly planned to attack the actress. The investigation is still on and more arrests cannot be ruled out.
