Sanjay Dutt's Early Release Was As Per Rules says Maharashtra Prison Department

The Bombay High Court has asked the Maharashtra Government to justify its decision on why Sanjay Dutt was granted an early release from Prison. The actor was let out eight months early on account of his good conduct while serving his sentence in Pune's Yerwada prison. The Maharashtra prison department has submitted their report to the court which reads that Sanjay Dutt's release was as per Maharashtra Government rules and there has been no special treatment given to the actor in this case.
