1 The Kali Kavach is a Vedic Stotra dedicated to the worship of Maha Kali, which is inscribed in Brahma Vaivarta Purana along with its benefits.
2 It is believed that Goddess Kali purifies the conscience and shield those who chant the Kali Kavach from evil.
3 The two sets of Kali Kavacha are famous in Hinduism, the original one was told by Lord Shiva to Lord Vishnu.
4 The other one known to many is a conversation between Maharishi Narada and Narayana (Lord Vishnu).
