सीबीआई ने अपने हलफनामे में कहा है कि हाई कोर्ट की निगरानी के बाद भी कई अहम सबूत शारदा चिट फंड घोटाले के मुख्य आरोपी को एसआईटी द्वारा सौंपे गए. कहा गया है कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट द्वारा सीबीआई को घोटाले की जांच सौंपने से पहले एसआईटी ने एक बड़ी साजिश के तहत सबूतों को मिटाने और जांच को बाधित करने की कोशिश की.

CBI affidavit says investigation was being done by SIT&crucial evidence such as laptops, mobile phones etc were handed over to the main accused in Saradha scam case by the investigating officer of WB police working under direct supervision of Police Commissioner Rajeev Kumar.
