In mammoth Moscow snow clearing, some balk at use of chemicals

From the first snowfall in November to the very end of the thaw in April, Moscow enlists a small army of shovelers, scrapers, gritters and plough drivers to keep the streets moving. Some residents are hoping the practice of spreading chemicals across the streets will end after years of dealing with the adverse effects.
