Since it was released just two weeks ago, Maren Morris' empowering new single, “GIRL,” has been climbing Billboard’s country music charts and has received more than 3 million streams on Spotify alone. Morris co-wrote the song with Sarah Aarons and Greg Kurstin while Morris was struggling through a disagreement with a friend. As she explained in the newest episode of 'Verified,' Morris looked inward to examine her own insecurities while writing the song and ultimately crafted a poignant anthem about self acceptance.
