India will begin their campaign for the ICC T20 World Cup on October 24, 2020 against South Africa in Perth. India will then go on to play a qualifier at MCG in Melbourne. It will be followed by facing England at the same venue before their final two fixtures of the Super 12s against another qualifier and Afghanistan at Adelaide and SCG, Sydney respectively. The tournament, with Windies as defending champions, gets underway on October 18. अंतरराष्‍ट्रीय क्रिकेट परिषद (ICC) ने 2020 में होने वाले महिला और पुरुष टी20 वर्ल्‍ड कप का शेड्यूल जारी कर दिया है। ये दोनों टूर्नामेंट ऑस्‍ट्रेलिया में खेले जाएंगे। ऐसा पहली बार हो रहा है जब दो टी20 वर्ल्‍ड कप किसी एक देश में आयोजित कराए जाएंगे। दोनों के फाइनल दुनिया के सबसे बड़े क्रिकेट स्‍टेडियम्‍स में से एक, मेलबर्न क्रिकेट ग्राउंड में खेले जाएंगे। महिला टी20 विश्‍व कप 21 फरवरी से 8 मार्च के बीच खेला जाएगा जबकि पुरुषों का टी20 वर्ल्‍ड कप 18 अक्‍टूबर से 15 नवंबर तक होगा। भारतीय पुरुष टीम को ग्रुप 2 में रखा गया है जिसमें दक्षिण अफ्रीका, इंग्‍लैंड और अफगानिस्‍तान जैसी टीमें हैं।
