McDonald's UK is putting bacon in their Big Mac

LONDON — McDonald's is jazzing up their Big Mac recipe in the UK by adding strips of glorious, glorious bacon.

According to the Sun, it's the first time the fast food giant is changing the recipe for its iconic burger in 51 years.

The Big Mac originally consists of two beef patties, special sauce, onions, pickles, lettuce, and cheese in a three-piece bun. And now it's got bacon, which no one ever complained about. For the same price too!

Apart from the sexy new bacon number, McDonald's is also bringing back two Big Mac variants, which can be had with or without the extra pork.

The Mac Junior is basically a baby version with just one patty, while the Grand Big Mac is its supersized sibling. The pair are surprisingly popular, and quickly sold out last time they were launched in January 2018.

According to the Mirror, the Junior and Grand are only available until March 19, but the bacon Big Mac is here to stay. That's at least one piece of good news for the Brits.
