Injured man pulled to safety during yellow vest protests in France

An injured man was pulled to safety during Yellow Vest protests in Montpellier, France this evening (January 26).

In the video, riot police can be seen charging at protesters. As the crowd disperses and smoke fills the air, one man wearing a protective helmet can be seen heading towards the injured man, holding up his hand and pulling him to safety.

The injured man is wearing a yellow vest and appears to be unconscious.

Others also come to his aid.

As the man is pulled away from the melee, at least one voice can be heard booing the riot police.

Demonstrators were taking to the streets for the 11th week of protests.
