on Friday from the White
House Rose Garden. President Trump,
via CNN The government will reopen
and be funded for three
weeks until February 15. During that time,
negotiators will continue
talks on the border wall. Trump reiterated
that he could declare
a national emergency. President Trump,

Trump could bypass Congress
to secure funding for the wall. Trump also addressed back-
pay for government workers,
saying they would receive
it "as soon as possible." For 36 days, 800,000 government

furloughed or required
