CPI(M) issues statement opposing 10% quota to economicallty weaker forward classes. The CPI(M) has called the criteria to decide WHO IS economically weaker a mockery of the very definition of the class. It questioned how the govt does not agree to a minimum wage of Rs 18,000 but is giving reservation to those who earn Rs 70,000 per month.
