One of the stars of Netflix epic "Roma", which has 10 Oscar nominations, may not be able to attend next month's Academy Award ceremony after being denied a U.S. visa three times.
Jorge Antonio Guerrero, who plays Fermin, has also been unable to attend press events alongside his co-stars.
The Mexican actor was first denied entry a year ago and his other attempts to secure a visa were during the winter, when "Roma" started getting the spotlight.
He missed the Golden Globes, where the film won Best Director and Best Foreign Language Film.
He told a Mexican magazine that officials at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City denied his visa even after he told them he would be a guest at the Oscars.
