Lingaa | Linga | Offical | Latest | Teaser | Trailer. Lingaa is an upcoming Tamil Action movie, Directed by KS Ravikumar. Staring Rajinikanth, Sonakshi Sinha, Anushka, Santhanam, Lingaa Tamil Movie sees the reunion of Rajinikanth and KS Ravikumar after a gap of 15 years. Rajinikanth and KS Ravikumar previously worked together in Padayappa. Lingaa songs are composed by Oscar Winner A.R. Rahman.

Lingaa Tamil Movie also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty in the female lead roles. Sonakshi Sinha will be making her Tamil Debut with Lingaa. Sonakshi Sinha, who was initially signed on for Viswaroopam, opted out of the movie due to conflicting schedules and instead chose to make her debut with Superstar Rajinikanth's Lingaa. Sonakshi Sinha will be seen in the role of a village girl who helps Rajinikanth's character in the film. Anushka Shetty was also signed for a female lead role. Anushka Shetty's role is kept under wraps. Actors Santhanam and Karunakaran also confirmed their involvement in the project. Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu was signed for an important role while Dev Gill was signed on for the secondary antagonist role.

Lingaa is expected to release on December 12th, 2014, coinciding Rajinikanth's birthday.
