Burma is a Tamil Thriller movie directed by Dharanidharan. Burma Tamil Movie stars Michael Thangadurai and Reshmi Menon in lead roles while Sampath Raj, Atul Kulkarni, Karthik Sabesh and Madhu Raghuram play supporting roles. Burma Tamil Movie songs are composed by Sudharshan M Kumar.
Burma is a fast-paced crime thriller movie which deals with the concept of car seizing. The hero Paramanandhan is fondly known as Burma. He and his sidekick Boomer are experts in car seizing. They work for Sampath Raj who exploits them and pays them very little. They find this out and trap him in a case and get him arrested. He is given an year sentence in prison.
Burma then works for Bothra Seth Atul Kulkarni. Seth is a car financier and he employs Burma to seize the cars for which dues are not paid regularly. He gets a list of 28 cars to be seized. He seizes 27 cars and the last one is a white colour BMW X6 car. He successfully seiZes the car and goes to give the car to Seth.
In a parallel narrative, a woman tries to sell an antique piece to a female gangster. When the deal falls through, she sends her men to bring her back. She falls from a flyover in front of the BMW X6. Burma, his girlfriend and his sidekick think they ed her and try to get rid off the body. They successfully get rid off the body but find the BMW X6 missing. Seth takes Burma's girlfriend as hostage and orders him to bring the BMW X6 in a day. An unknown man approaches Burma and gives him clues of the whereabouts of the car.
Meanwhile the lady gangster plans to steal an ATM service van carrying more than 5 crores in cash. They stop the van near a railway crossing and take the money and escape in TN - Andhra highway. Burma pretends to be a highway patrol cop and dupes them and takes the car from them. Burma gives the money to the stranger and takes the car to Seth and brings back his girlfriend. But he sets up Seth in a child kidnap case and sends him to jail.
The lady gangster realises that one of her men was a traitor and s him. Then it is revealed that Boomer took the cash from the bag as he was suspicious about the stranger's intentions behind helping him.
Finally the three of them live together with the money they got. Boomer shows the antique easter egg to Burma who teases him that it was fake. The movie ends with Burma getting a call from Seth's assistant claiming to have taken over the seizing business. He drives to their location while Seth and Guna smile viciously in jail, implying Burma was being set up.
