Circus continues as doctors’ union jail reprieve extended by 7 days

The Employment and Labour Relations Court has further suspended a one month jail sentence for doctors union officials to give room for dialogue.
Giving her order after the intervention of trade union leader Francis Atwoli, Lady Justice Hellen Wasilwa extended the jail sentence by seven days, urging Atwoli to convene a meeting in a bid to resolve the ongoing strike by the doctors.
