Uhuru nominates EACC commissioners [News Bulletin]

President Uhuru Kenyatta has nominated Philip Kinusu to be the Chairperson of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission.
He’s nominated Dabar Abdi Maalim, Paul Mwaniki Gachoka, Sophia Lepuchirit and Rose Mghoi Mtambo Macharia as members of the commission which has operated without commissioners for months.
The names of the nominees have been forwarded to the National Assembly for consideration.
The nominations come following a call to all arms of government and the private sector to join hands in fighting corruption which is becoming endemic in his government.
The Head of State was speaking at a press briefing in State House where he was accompanied by private sector representatives, the Judiciary and Parliament.
