The Kenya Defence Forces say 51 Al Shabaab militants were killed when AMISOM forces launched a major artilery bombardment in Somalia.
Interior Spokesman Mwenda Njoka has clarified that the Garissa University attack mastermind Mohamed Mohamud alias Gamadhere is not among the dead.
Njoka had earlier told Capital News beat that Gamadhere who has a 20 million shilling bounty on his head was among those killed in a US drone attack.
