Will Priyanka Gandhi become the face of any possible coalition in 2019 polls?

The 'Will she? Won't she? Will she? Won't she?' is finally over. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, one of the prime Congress campaigners in the Gandhi's' pocket boroughs of Amethi and Rae Bareli during elections, has moved from being a de facto Congress worker to a de jure one. As the 47-year-old debuts as party general secretary in charge of her more familiar landscapes of eastern Uttar Pradesh, this should be good news for the Grand Old Party, which, a few weeks back found itself perhaps unexpectedly off centre stage in the Opposition stage when the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Samajwadi Party (SP) decided to divvy electoral tickets between the two of them for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls keeping Congress out of the '38+38' equation.
