Bacolod MassKara Festival 2019

MassKara Festival is an annual festival in Bacolod City with highlights every fourth Sunday of October with street dancers in colorful costumes, masks and headdresses. Bacolod City invites you to the “happiest and most colorful festival in the Philippines” this Masskara Festival 2017 with festival highlights on October 22. This will be a month-long celebration from October 1-22 with concerts, food fests, street parties, and a lot of activities will draw thousands of visitors to the City of Smiles.

MassKara Festival 2017 Schedule
MassKara Festival 2017 will be on October 22 and this will be the first time that the schedule was fixed every fourth Sunday of October based on the ordinance authored by Councilor Em Ang. The main event of MassKara Festival is the street dancing competition where dancers don colorful costumes and masks and move to the rhythm of Latin music.

This year’s theme is “Bacolod: City of Southeast Asia.” A total of 15 barangays and 11 schools are joining the 2017 MassKara Festival street and arena dance competitions on October 21-22. The street competition will start along Lizares-Araneta Streets at 3 p.m., while the arena competition at the Public Plaza will start at 4 p.m.
