Trump To Offer Immigration Deal For Wall Funding

According to Reuters, President Trump will offer a compromise on immigration, but not relent on funding for a U.S.-Mexico border wall. In a speech this afternoon from the White House, Trump will reportedly offer to back legislation to protect young immigrants known as “Dreamers,” as well as Temporary Protected Status holders in exchange for $5.7 billion in wall funding. The president is expected to make the announcement at 3 PM EST.
