Actor James Woods on Thursday warned conservatives everywhere that discounting Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez could come with consequences.
Actor James Woods on Thursday warned fellow conservatives that discounting Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez could come with consequences. He tweeted a picture of the 29-year-old congresswoman and wrote: "This is the most dangerous person in America right now. Ignore her at your peril." The alert came not long after Ocasio-Cortez delivered her first address from the House floor. Her comments included: "It is not normal to hold 800,000 workers' paychecks hostage. It is not normal to shut down the government when we don't get what we want." Woods has been a very vocal and enthusiastic supporter of President Trump and appears to share his love for Twitter, firing off numerous tweets that slam liberals and Democratic politicians. Ocasio-Cortez has become one of his repeat targets, with him recently posting a picture of her and others peeking out of an elevator and writing, "As the inmates attempt to escape the asylum." The congresswoman does not appear to have directly fired back at Woods but has made a number of comments about Trump. "I'd say we'd be taxing 70% of Trump's income, but he probably hasn't made more than $10 million in years - and that's the real reason he's hiding his taxes," Ocasio-Cortez tweeted on Monday.
