Demetrius Andrade Interview: Billy Joe Saunders Is Unprofessional, Still Wants Fight With Charlo Brothers

Demetrius Andrade shares some words with Generation Iron before his big fight this Friday.

WBO middleweight champion Demetrius Andrade (26-0, 16 KO) is set to make his first defense of his title this Friday at the Madison Square Garden in what seems like will be a truly epic match. He squares off against Artur Akavov (19-2, 8 KO). The odds are in Demetrius' favor but we never truly count out the underdog until the end of the fight.

Ever since earning the middle class champion belt, Andrade has been a very interesting boxer to watch and is seen as a potential opponent for Canelo Alvarez. 2019 can be the year that really skyrockets Demetrius' name to the next level and tomorrow's fight will be the first of many that boxing fans should definitely keep their eyes on.

Generation Iron's Jon Salmon met up with Demetrius after Wednesday's press conference to talk about his fight prep, future plans, and a few of his rivals. Demetrius is holding nothing back - and sees no reason why he won't get into the ring with the greats like GGG and Canelo in the future. Check out the full interview above.
