Its confirmed. Congress Chief Rahul gandhi will miss TMC Chief Mamata Banerjee's mega opposition rally on january 19 and will instead send senior leader Mallikarjun Kharge to represent the party. Besides Rahul, Sonia Gandhi and Mayawati too will be missing the rally. The congress state leadership has warned TMC that the party won't go soft against her party. The new alliance members SP and RLD leaders will be attending the rally. Akhilesh Yadav, Jayant Chaudhary and Ajit Singh will be going to the rally. BSP's Satish Chandra Mishra will also attend the rally instead of party Supremo Mayawati. Mamata had earlier snubbed the oath taking ceremonies of Gehlot and Kamal Nath and welcomed the S.P BSP alliance after they snubbed congress in the state alliance.
