YouTube Bans Risky Pranks And Challenges

According to Geek.com, YouTube is cracking down on dangerous challenges and pranks. The video-sharing service on Tuesday reminded users that risky dares—like the Tide Pod, Bird Box, and fire challenges—are not acceptable content. The company wrote in an announcement “YouTube is home to many beloved viral challenges and pranks, but we need to make sure what’s funny doesn’t cross the line into also being harmful or dangerous.
