Enes Kanter hasn’t spoken to his parents since 2015 because he's an enemy of his home country’s government in Turkey. Kenter has been in the US sine 2009 and has been very vocal speaking out against the Turkish government. And as of today, there are reports saying Turkey has put in an extradition request and is asking Interpol to arrest the NBA star. According to a report issued by a Turkish news agency, Kanter is suspected of being part of a terrorist organization.
