S. Korean gov't to support companies in creating jobs, boosting exports: Minister

Minister of Economy and Finance Hong Nam-ki has vowed government support to help businesses invest more and create jobs.
He met Wednesday, for the first time as minister, with the heads of four business organizations, including the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where he said the government's main priority is reviving the economy.
Minister Hong promised to be attentive to requests from businesses, reflect those requests in policy... and ease regulations to help foster new industries.
At the same time, the finance minister asked the heads of the organizations to also do their part to increase investment and create more jobs.
