Theresa May's
Brexit Deal Is Strongly
Rejected by Parliament The British Prime
Minister's plan was
rejected by a vote of 432-202. The vote is the
biggest defeat for a
prime minister in the
country's recent history. It comes just ten weeks
before the U.K. is scheduled
to leave the European Union. John Springford, via 'The New York Times' Following the vote,
opposition Labour Party
leader Jeremy Corbyn offered a
motion of no confidence against May. If Corbyn is able to
secure the necessary
votes for the motion, it
would lead to a general election. It's not considered
likely that he will
be able to get
the votes. John Springford, via 'The New York Times'
