Will Smith and Martin Lawrence Reunite on 'Bad Boys 3' Set 15 years after 'Bad Boys II,' production has started on the next movie. Will Smith broke the news that filming had begun in Atlanta on Monday. Will Smith, via Instagram Smith and Martin Lawrence will reprise their roles as Miami detectives Mike Lowrey and
Marcus Burnett. The film will be directed by Adil El Arbi
and Bilall Fallah. Michael Bay, who directed the first two films,
will not be returning to the franchise. Vanessa Hudgens, Charles Melton and
Joe Pantoliano will star in the film. 'Bad Boys for Life' is currently set for a release date of Jan. 17, 2020.
