Trump Threatens Turkish Economy

On Sunday President Trump came after Turkey via Twitter, threatening to "devastate Turkey economically." The president's threat appears among growing concerns over the fate of US-backed Kurdish fighters, an organization that Turkey has long deemed a terrorist group. Business Insider reports Kurdish forces have been important partners in the campaign against ISIS. They fear that without US protection, Turkey will launch an assault against them.
