President's new chief of staff, political secretary meet leadership of main opposition party

President Moon Jae-in's newly appointed chief of staff and his secretary for political affairs have been held talks with the leadership of the main opposition Liberty Korea Party.
Noh Young-min, the new chief of staff, vowed to step up communication with the main opposition party,... stressing that their support is crucial.
The main opposition party called on the top office to do more to re-energize the economy,... noting people's hardships,... and added the government needs to consider changing some of its policies.
They agreed there should be no divide between rival parties when it comes to revitalizing the economy or security issues.
The presidential aides met with the heads of the ruling party and the minor opposition parties last week.
