After BSP-SP's mega alliance announcement in Uttar Pradesh, all focus now on Mamata Banerjee and her January 19 rally in Bengal. The rally has a two-pronged purpose: on one hand, it will be Mamata’s show of strength, and on the other, it will be a test of the opposition’s unity. Congress President Rahul Gandhi and BSP Chief Mayawati are among the most eagerly awaited participants.
