Special police team probing former short track coach Cho Jae-beom over sexual assault claims

Police have set up a special team to probe accusations the former coach of South Korea's national short track team, Cho Jae-beom,... sexually assaulted one of his champion skaters.
The Gyeonggi Southern Provincial Police Agency has formed a team of 17 detectives, digital forensics experts and legal support staff.
They are currently trying to restore data on digital devices belonging to the former coach and Olympic gold medalist Shim Suk-hee.
Cho is accused of sexually assaulting Shim... multiple times since 2014.
The Korea Skating Union will be holding a meeting today to discuss the allegations facing the former coach.
The KSU will also discuss additional disciplinary measure on Cho,... who has already been permanently expelled from the union.
