Congress workers in Kolkata, West Bengal protested against "The Accidental Prime Minister" on its release day. A group of people can be seen inside a mall in Kolkata where they call out slogans against the movie. The movie, which stars Anupam Kher as former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, was released on January 11. The movie has received flak from the Congress earlier on the trailer as well.
