Brief cold snap freezes country _ 010919

Good morning. Cold weather, but cleaner air today. Upper regions are dealing with bone chilling temperatures, while southern provinces are also waking up to a cold morning today... and if you live in one of the big cities, tall buildings can make the wind feel even colder and stronger, so bundle up tight.
You will feel that colder air when you step outside. Afternoon highs will also be couple notches lower staying in the negative territory.. but this cold snap will be short-lived... temperatures will rebound to above seasonal norms tomorrow afternoon.
Taking a closer look at today's temperatures, morning lows are 3 to 4 degrees lower than yesterday in most regions... Seoul and Daejeon at minus 10 degrees Celsius, Daegu at minus 7 degrees. Jeju is starting out the day at 3 degrees.
Daily highs will be similar to a tad lower than yesterday, Seoul at minus 1, Gwangju and Busan at 5 and 8 degrees respectively. mostly sunny skies with decent air will dominate.
