Trump to Make Case for Border Wall
During Prime-Time Address President Donald Trump
announced the address
via Twitter on Monday. The address will
mark Trump's first
made from the Oval Office. It comes amid a government
shutdown over funding for
Trump's wall on the
Southern U.S. border. CNN has agreed
to air the speech. The four major networks —
ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS — will
also air the speech. Trump will also
travel to the border
later in the week, Democrats and immigration
advocates say it's inaccurate
to cast the situation at
the border as a "crisis."
