Trump Proposes Declaring A National Emergency To Build Border Wall

President Donald Trump said he may declare a national emergency to build his U.S.-Mexico border wall. Because of Trump’s demand to fund his wall, the government is under a partial shutdown. According to Politico, Trump is considering making the wall out of steel instead of concrete. Trump said: “This is a very important battle to win from the standpoint of safety.” Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney said they are looking for other ways to fund the wall.
