Pope Francis Urges Help For Migrants Stuck In Mediterranean

On Sunday, Pope Francis urged European leaders to help 49 migrants currently stuck on two humanitarian rescue ships on the Mediterranean and give them a safe port to dock. In an address to 60,000 people in St. Peter’s Square, the Pope said, "I make a heartfelt appeal to European leaders to show concrete solidarity for these people. They were only seeking a safe port where they can disembark.
