May: UK in 'uncharted territory' if Brexit deal voted down
  • 5 years ago
Theresa May has told the BBC's The Andrew Marr Show that the UK will be in "uncharted territory" if MPs vote against her Brexit deal in Parliament. The meaningful vote in the House of Commons is scheduled for the week beginning 14th January. The Prime Minister reiterated her opposition to a second referendum on Britain's membership of the EU and wrote in the Mail that, "the only way to both honour the result of the referendum and protect jobs and security is by backing the deal that is on the table."
