SHOCKING! Kanjarbhat's bizzare ritual; groom asked about wife's virginity

A shocking video is doing the rounds on social media showing how members of the Kanjarbhat - a Jaat Panchayat in Pune asking a groom the outcome of the virginity test of his wife and whether he was satisfied. This archaic custom of the Kanjarbhat community where the bride has to prove on the wedding night that she is virgin has come under criticism from progressive sections of that community as well as social activists. The Maharashtra Andhashraddha Nirmulan Samiti has demanded action against the people in the video.
