Entering the third year of Moon Jae-in's presidency,... South Korea's top office is looking at a potential re-shuffle of its backroom staff and presidential aides as early as next week.
Sources familiar with the matter say the verification process for possible replacements has been in the works since late last year.
The reshuffle is expected to swap out current presidential aides who plan on running for the ruling party in next year's general elections.
The sources say the shakeup could see President Moon's Chief of Staff Im Jong-seok leaving his role.
