'1/2020th': Trump Attacks Warren Over DNA Results As She Launches 2020 Committee

President Trump went after Elizabeth Warren on Twitter Thursday.

President Trump on Thursday went after Senator Elizabeth Warren with a mock campaign logo that makes an apparent reference to her reported Native American heritage.  It read: "Warren 1/2020th."  Warren, who recently announced plans to launch an exploratory committee for a 2020 presidential run, has long been targeted by Trump for her claim of Native American ancestry.  She took a DNA test in October and at the time, the Washington Post reported: "While the vast majority of the individual's ancestry is European, the results strongly support the existence of an unadmixed Native American ancestor in the individual's pedigree, likely in the range of 6-10 generations ago."  Despite the report supporting Warren's claim, many focused on the Boston Globe's interpretation of the data, which put the Senator at between "1/64th and 1/1024th Native American." Trump was among them, tweeting: "Pocahontas (the bad version), sometimes referred to as Elizabeth Warren, is getting slammed. She took a bogus DNA test and it showed that she may be 1/1024, far less than the average American. Now Cherokee Nation denies her, 'DNA test is useless.' Even they don't want her. Phony!"
