'The Walking Dead' Team Will Be Heavily Involved With Rick Grimes Movie Trilogy

According to ComicBook.com, The Walking Dead creator and series executive producer Robert Kirkman will be "heavily involved" with the Rick Grimes television movie trilogy. Chief content officer Scott Gimple told the New York Times that he will be writing the first installment of the trilogy. Gimple assured fans that the series of films are “not just longer episodes,”, adding the films will tell an original Rick Grimes story and feature more production than a standard television series.
