Demanding Wall Money, Trump Threatens to Close Mexico Border

According to Reuters, President Donald Trump threatened on Friday to close the U.S. southern border if Congress does not agree to provide $5 billion in taxpayer funds for his border wall. Trump fired off angry tweets, saying “We will be forced to close the Southern Border entirely if the Obstructionist Democrats do not give us the money to finish the Wall." The standoff in Washington over Trump’s demand for money to help fund the border wall, was also widely expected to drag well into January.
