Times Square New Year's Eve 2019 Waterford Crystal Unveils Gift Of Harmony Triangles

The Waterford Crystal New Year’s Eve Ball is a geodesic sphere, 12 feet in diameter, and weighs 11,875 pounds. The Ball is covered with a total of 2,688 Waterford Crystal triangles that vary in size, and range in length from 4 3/4 inches to 5 3/4 inches per side.

For Times Square 2019, 192 new Waterford Crystal triangles will be featured on the New Year’s Eve Ball, introducing the “Gift of Harmony”. From individual notes, musicians magically produce beautiful chords. Like music’s harmonic chords, the “Gift of Harmony” seeks the refuge of accord and compatibility amid the discourse of the world for the betterment of all. The new “Gift of Harmony” design utilizes small rosette cuts flowing into each other in beautiful harmony.
