Pennsylvania’s Bob Casey has emerged as one of the more improbable names rumored to join the 2020 presidential race. The Democratic senator recently pulled off a double-digit victory in a November midterm election. Political strategists say if he doesn’t run, Casey would also make an appealing choice for a Vice Presidential candidate. According to Politico, Casey says Democrats have to compete in rural areas to win back states like Pennsylvania in 2020.
